Harper Sound is a mastering facility that provides pre-mastering for CD’s, Cassettes, and/or Vinyl.

Mastering is the last creative step before duplication. Artists, Producers and Engineers often spend weeks, months or years on a single project. During that time it is difficult to be objective and a fresh pair of ears is required. An experienced mastering engineer can enhance a project's impact on the listener as well as create continuity with the various elements.

Jay has been mastering since 1997. Three of those years were spent at Bernie Grundman Mastering developing his ears, learning tips and developing techniques. He has a BA in Music with an emphasis on recording Arts from California State University, Chico. He’s also been an active live sound, remote recording and studio engineer since 1990.
